Monthly meetings in members' homes, and their programs include
speakers, field trips and an annual Bridge Luncheon which attracts

Its main mission is to preserve the rural quality of life in
Placitas, especially focusing on open space, recreational,
educational and cultural preservation of the area, and riparian
restoration of Las Huertas Creek. It sponsors the annual Flowering
Desert Garden Tour in June, the Star Gazing Party in the fall, and
group hikes throughout the year.

Pipelines:
A New Mexico nonprofit corporation which was created to protect the
environment, property and the public safety from releases from
hazardous liquid and natural gas pipelines through education,
technical assistance and advocacy.

A not-for-profit organization protective of the environment and sites
of cultural significance. Projects include community gardens,

High quality chamber music concerts performed in the acoustically
perfect sanctuary at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church. Shows of local
